Racetech front springs and gold valves

Ventura rack
Delkevic headers
K&N air filter
LED strip running lights front and rear
Repainted wheel rims and JPS livery
Wave disc brake rotors

Changed the screen to a Givi but didn't like it so stock went back on (I was too tall for the Givi).

2008 1250S Metallic Blue, 13,000km

Mods to your Bandit IMG_0089

Factory accessory solo seat
Full Givi touring kit
Single Seat Compliance plate
Pro-oiler (best investment yet)
Michelin PR2 x 2
RR repositioning bracket (by Gus Industries Laughing )
Ventura headlight protector (hit by rock, split, glued back together, still doing the business)
Airhawk Seat

Still to come, but no particular hurry:
Radiator Guard
Sheepskin Seat (not convinced about the Airhawk)
Cruise Control (electronic unit)
Suspension upgrade - pull the linkages apart, lubricate & reassemble properly, a fork & shock rebuild / revalve / respring.
Braided Steel Brake Lines
Rims either stripped like Gus', or powdercoated silver
Headlight upgrade to HID

Not intending to replace the standard exhaust or frick with the engine at this stage - the thing really has enough grunt already. I have rounded up enough boy racers on their megabuck rocketships on the mountain ranges around Cairns to be content that there is power enough for my needs.

Other than a scorpion pipe, ventura rack and a vista throttle lock my B12 is unchanged from when I bought it.

I like the bike the way it is. Although I do need to do something about he the headlights, I swear they're getting worse.

I didn't think it was possible either. High beam seems alright, in that its no worse than it always was. But low beam seems to getting worse. It might just be that they need to be adjusted up a bit.

5 deg timing advancer
air box lid with more holes than Snow White's hymen
twin electrode plugs
Progressive springs
GSXR1000 rear shock
dog bones to jack it up 35mm (shock lowered it 25mm)
heated hand grips w/ relay
hand guards
short levers - Pazzo knock offs
LED blinkers - front
clear lens blinkers - rear
rack & bag
carbon tank pad
higher wattage low & high beam
better hb3 & hb4 plugs to handle heat from higher wattage lamps
Metzler Z8s

Embarassed I was just out having a smoke and thought I'd have a closer look at the headlights. The low beam side wasn't 'mounted' properly and was hanging down slightly in the housing. This has been fixed. Hopefully the low beam with be better now.
