Numberplate light .
Always thought the number-plate light and reflector looked to large ,so pulled it all apart and reinstalled without spacer.
Before
After
The spacer removed ,all comes apart not cutting.

You realise that this is probably against some obscure ADR and that you can be thrown in jail in most States of this fine Country. Other than that it looks better and might try it myself. Mark.

Re: Numberplate light .
But Officer it was like that when i bought it ,honest .
I think you would have to be unlucky .With every second bike having no rear guard at
all ,no reflector, tiny indercators i'm calling this O.K.
The exhaust on the other hand !

Ended up removing large rubber backing pad .Cut a smaller one with a piece of push bike inner tube.Looks a bit neater
By the response of this mod .it looks like i'm on my own though.

Re: Numberplate light .
Gus you have upset the weight balance now.
It will be much harder to lift the front wheel with less weight hanging over the rear axle.
I reckon it looks alright.

Re: Numberplate light .
Why not go 1 step further. ditch the rear light, move the plate up and cut a hole in the bottom of the brake light, insert a clear bit of perspex and then it'll be really neat. They used to do this modification on GPX/ZZR's to tidy up the rear end
