Tank stand
The last time I adjusted my throttle bodies with a Morgan Carb Tune, I had some difficulty in terms of how to hold the tank above the bike. Solved the immediate problem by getting my girlfriend to hold the tank, but the job was somewhat rushed, with the "are you done yet?" ringing in my ears!!
I bought a tank prop from Metrick Metal (www.metrickmetal.com). Took about 10 days to get to NZ and I used it today. I now can take my time adjusting my throttle bodies, and the only sound in my ear is the Bandit
It's a useful piece of kit and Scott at Metrick Metal does a nice job

Re: Tank stand
Looks good mate but I've got a question for you. Why didn't you just use a block of wood?

Re: Tank stand
I have one of Scott's brackets, they work a treat.
With the high tech block of wood I found it too easy to knock the tank off balance!
His wheels alignment plugs work great too! You gotta have some gaditches to play with!

Re: Tank stand
I'd tried wood and was always worried about the tank hitting the ground. This is much better.

Re: Tank stand
What is it actually sitting on at the front of the tank?

Re: Tank stand
It's a hook type arrangement that goes over the bars with a flat plate that the tank sits on. Syncing the TBs has given me smoother shifting and it runs as it should now, so I am very happy.

That's sweet mate. Looks handy; sturdier than the old 4x2.

Re: Tank stand
There's probably better things to spend your money on but I ordered one anyway as I could see things ending badly for me, the tank and lumps of wood - I'm just too clumsy
