Sydney to Broken Hill..

First topic message reminder :

Hi all.. I am currently working on a run to Broken Hill from Sydney in the first or second week of may. The more i probe this idea and get my head around it i am finding that i will require a lot more outsider help and info. Bassically a mate is heading up from Adelaide and we decided on meeting at Broken Hill. What can you guys tell me about the roads after Dubbo? How is it for fuel stops? I believe i can get to Nyngan on the second day and the 3rd day be in Broken Hill. Ideas are well in need for this one and if anyone is interested on joining even part way please let me know... Weather permitting. I will hit Yass and sleep on Friday night. Then Just cruise on too Mildura as i need to be in Wentworth by sunday night to meet a friend. Not sure where to stop for the night between Yass and Mildura, but thats not an issue. Then we both ride on too Broken Hill on monday sometime. Heading east after Broken Hill is simple enough. It all reads weak and unplanned. I am basing this one on being back at work the monday after next. What ever happens in between the day i leave and the day i arrive back to Sydney is a bonus in any regard. Lets hope for good weather.

Bike is packed and i am ready for this. Yass first stop tomorrow night after work, then hopefully Mildura Saturday afternoon. If not i will stay at Hay for the night. I am not an iphone user so i cant update this thread on the run. Wish me luck. Willl be in Broken Hill Monday afternoon.

I have to say it was one of the best tours to date because of weather and light traffic. Thankyou to Reardo for meeting up on the second day in BH and it was appreciated greatly by both Ken and I.
Would you guys believe that i seen only 1 kangaroo and that was just out side Little Topar? ( mob after mob after mob after mob of goats though but thats good as goats are no way near as skittish as roo's!) Well i seen more roos on the parents lawn when i pulled into Denman for the night on second last leg of the tour..
I guess I should go into detail about the tour but im just all biked out at the moment and could not be bothered . Next run will be Sydney, Mildura , Adelaide , Robe , Mount Gambier , Warrnambool , by-pass Melbourne( I hear there is a ferry/boat ) and then straight up the coast to Sydney again.. Any takers i wonder?
