Bike out of action for 3 months....
Imagine the scenario. where someone who owned a GSF1200 happened to be pinged 40kmh over the speed limit on Burnt Creek Deviation and received a licence suspension for 3 months. In this hypothetical situation any hints on how best to store the bike? Empty fuel tank or not? fill it? disconnect the battery? turn it over every week or what. No garage so only a bike cover. Entirely hypothetical of course.........

Hypothetically I’d sell it. In Vic you’d be hypothetically walking for 12 months then on 1 point for another 12 months

This person you know needs to do a risk assessment.
Unless this person's bike rego has been recorded against the offence and he doesn't go popping wheelies at the traffic lights I figure your greatest risk is RBT which I regard as minimal.

3 months is nothing ,it will be fine . You could use the time to build a shed .
