A phone call from Bruiser!

A funny thing happened a couple of days ago... I was merrily cruising up the Gt Western Highway through Leura and into Katoomba and my 'Bluetooth' headset started ringing in the helmet... I answered while riding and it was 'Bruiser' a fellow Bandit rider from Hazelbrook.  Had not spoken to him for at least 18 mths or so and I had apparently overtaken him somewhere along the way near Katoomba...  (Hope I didn't give him a scare!)  - Surprised to hear from him - neither of us have been very active lately on the forum and for that I at least apologise..   maybe 2014 will bring me back a little more regularly.  I need to go on another l o n g ride...   haven't done so for quite a while.  For the moment I'm packing for my annual sojourn to Canada.... so the bike is all packed and covered for a 2 month lay off...  See you all when I'm back!  Hopefully for that ride! 

Have fun over there with the bears Bruce.  The $ isn't so strong at the moment so I guess it will cost more this year than last year.

Bruce, You passed me only because I checked my RHS mirror before overtaking Grandma Walton in her Kia Crap.
I am,after all a Motorcycle aware driver in my ute.I recognised you as you passed me, Your Bandit has a very nice noise but number plate was the giveaway.
Problem was trying to keep up in a hilux 2.7 ute with a Bandit doing 100 plus through leura (80 k down to 70 you bad boy).
Yes I have not been in contact either for a while and I have not been riding much.21 thou k`s on a 2010 bandit ain`t much ridin` is it?
Maybe this year will be different.Enjoy your trip Bruce hope all is good.I`ll try to  get my crap together and get my ass on the bike.
