Front Forks Empty Front Forks

Pulled the forks apart on Saturday coz the left seal was leaking only to find that there was rust on the spring and spacer, and the oil had water in it. Anyone else have this problem? I'm almost certain that it was caused by the previous owner using a pressure washer to clean the bike.

Or he put it together wet after on f\oil change .Even then I would have thought the oil environment would have prevented rust . Right amount of oil come out ?

Could even have been that he used a compressor to blow out the cleaning liquid and the compressor blew water in. Does happen.  Do not think a pressure cleaner would get past the dust seals and the fork seals.

A bit more than was supposed to be in there but that's probably because of the water.
