Most unloved bike access.
Anything goes ,even silver for a bike colour .
Ive got plenty .
GIVI - easy winner ,95% time empty ,and what on earth do you need all that space for .
Mobile phone holder -Toss it , your not as important as you think .
Tinted screens -over kill
Gps -Isnt the idea on a bike to GET lost .
White Sunglasses - Sad try hard .
Scull Masks -- your not a viking and never will be .
Super loud pipes --- lets go slower and annoy everyone .
White t-shirts on any bike ---- Screams I can not fix anything.
A cigarette smoking rider -- Even dictionary says WANKER.
Very slow cars ------Your speeds fine ,just pull over a little so I can at least do the speed limit ( not 30 under it)
Intercoms --Your not THAT entertaining
That's my top 11, I enjoyed that .
No correspondence will be entered into , its my pet peeve's ,I'm not interested how good your gps is .

Re: Most unloved bike access.
I agree with Gus on most things listed and I'll add 190 or 200 rear tyres on any type of bike designed to go around corners. Even 180 is overkill on most because most of the time 50mm is used

Sons of Anarchy T-Shirts. Your not a bikie so stop pretending.
Certain people that ride certain large V twins that can't help but give it a couple of quick revs when slowing down to a stop at lights or better still pedestrian crossings just to give the nannas and kiddies a fright. We can hear you, you f#%&n wankers. Totally overrated.
A clock in the instrument cluster, UNDERRATED!! Don't have one on the TL, I really miss it. I do however have a temp gauge instead.
Agree with you TWA about tyres bigger than 180, not really any need.

Yep, I couldn't care less what other people have or use on their bikes.
But if you want to make a list of what pisses me off with car drivers, I'd be here typing for a long time
(might have something to do with me being guilty of a few items on your list)

Re: Most unloved bike access.
I'm not a fan of the colour blue - maybe 21 years in the Airforce has made me appreciate other colours! So I generally don't go for blue bikes (only blue one I've seen recently that I like is an SV1000s). But then, I'm no great fan of the "mono colour" paint schemes that dominate today's bikes, irrespective of the colour.
Can't stand loud HD tractors - who the hell wants to look at YOU.
Can't stand the fact that boots seem to run out of size (irrespective of brand or range) at size 48 - what if I want size 49?
Don't like emission laws ruling how the bike runs - too many parts just doing f-all and screwing the natural performance.
I'll think of more!!

Re: Most unloved bike access.
For normal accessories I vote thumbs down for Chinese mirrors with built in indicators. These things took modifying to fit and one of them snapped in half.
Actually Chinese Aftermarket led indicators period are shit as they aren't bright enough. I bought some expensive Rizoma LEDs that actually work.
I love my Givi top box, saves me from carrying my work backpack on my back. The indicator relocator bracket is shit though. That gets a thumbs down.
No bagging other road users or particular bike owners. I don't let them get to me.

Re: Most unloved bike access.
The most common thing that annoys me is plain incivility and people who are rude to others because of bike choice. We are a tribal lot and some tribes just seem to hate others. Fortunately the Bandit tribe is on the whole a lot friendlier than most. I just came back from a 4 hr ride with a mate on a Guzzi Norge and everyone out on bikes was waving or acknowledging everyone else. It was a great day (and I have Givi luggage..... )

I ordered a set from Dale and then put them back in the original spot and lost the crappy Givi bracket. A small modification (cut the tube and install small thread bar with two nuts and thread lock) to the Givi Brace bar and everything is perfect.

Re: Most unloved bike access.
I like my Givi gear Gus. Especially the top box, go to work before sun up and 0 to 12 degrees with all my dri-rider gear on, backpack in box. Leave work and its 30+ and the pants, work jacket and backpack are in the box. Beats the shit out of ocky straps or ventura (gets wet-inside) bag. And the Givi panniers are great for a trip with all the camping gear, tools, clothes and food and drinks.

Re: Most unloved bike access.
a quick thread hijack...
so reddog, some time ago I tried contacting Rizoma to do the quiz thing on their products, but no reply.
they obviously pass ADR?
they do cost a bit I know !
I can`t tell anything from the photos advertised!
So...they are bright and have good side view, and are at least as bright as OEM if not brighter?
what ones have you got?

Re: Most unloved bike access.
Good list.
Here are a few that get me sometimes!!
1. Bike riders that don't nod. They see me when I nod at them at about 50m distance, which is enough time for them to reply. I don't car who you are and what you ride, but it's an acknowledgement that we are both on two wheels and are putting up with the car drivers, fumes, weather and all the fun you get from being on a motorcycle!
2. Shorts, T-shirts, crocks as riding gear. On a push bike - fine. On a feeway doing 80kph - not so fine. Atleast their hands will be intact by wearing gloves. I don't believe there should be mandatory safety gear rules given by government. I'd just rather see riders use their common sense. Drivers see these riders pass them on the freeway with their T-Shirts riding halfway up their back from the wind and lump us all into the same category when they say "Look at that stupid rider!!!!"
3. Scooters. There is just something about them that I can't justify to myself that they warrant getting a nod from me, am I a bad person?
4. Rossi Helmet, Rossi Jacket, Rossi Gloves riding a Rossi replica R1. We all loved Rossi but my just stick to wearing a T-shirt or cap - if you can afford them that is.
5. Helmet mo-hawks and Muppet covers. They just look crap. If I want a laugh, I'll watch National Lampoons Vacation!
6. LED lights behind fairings. We ain't living in Cali or New York like Biker Boyz!
7. Go Pro cameras. I saw a kid wearing one riding a Pogo Stick the other day. Is he seriously going to watch this footage ever again?
We all have our bug-bears in life and who of us can say we are right or wrong! It's good just to get it off our chest sometimes.
