I don't get it !

Ok so someone scores a goal in Alabama USA in gridiron , & it makes our national news ..................Hundreds of motorcyclists  converge on all state capital houses of parliament to protest unconstitutional laws being introduced in our country  , & not a mention .

Just keep all of this fresh in your mind at the next election as Australians are slowly starting to discover voting is the best form of protest !! Goodbye Newman !!!   

I suppose it was bad timing (couldn't be helped). Paul Walker died, a train crashed in New York and a surfer got bitten by a shark.  Hell even the a model dating a millionaire got more coverage.

Mind you, I'm not surprised.  The only way these protests were going to get real air time was if something actually happened.

Mr Newman did respond to the protest.

and now they have Federal government support.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott, who was in Brisbane on Sunday morning, backed the state government’s stance on criminal bikies.
“We’re not talking here about motorcycling enthusiasts. We’re talking about hardened criminals engaging in – to put it bluntly – a giant criminal conspiracy against the public,” Mr Abbott said.

Where were the cops? they should have been there putting a stop to such a large GANG protesting! (i say wtih sarcasm) Newman won't survive the next election.
