You can cut the hump out of the rear inner guard and replace with alloy or similar. I am sure Dhula did exactly at to allow for a little more under seat storage.

Mines not the factory undertail, its the R&G one. Can probably still do that but there is no need at the moment.

While removing the rear vibration knobs yesterday I thought the same thing, (this hump has to go). looking at cutting a section out and replacing with a plastic tray or thin gauge gal plate. Will post some pics when I get time to do the job.

While your at it remove those wire seat location brackets ,They do absolutely nothing but make the seat more awkward to fit .
