Hi from north west Qld
Hi how is everyone. I'm Corey live and work in north west Qld and have recently purchased a new GSF1250S. Back on a bike after a spell away from them. Really haven't been any where yet just the commute back From Townsville to Julia Creek when I picked the bike up. Really happy with it so far was glade to adjust the seat to the higher position as I'm tall and big bloke. Really looking forward to getting it run in and getting back over to the coast and some windy roads. Is there many others on here from North Qld. Well leave it at that and thanks for having me on here.

Hello Corsa,
A Big Sunny North Queensland Welcome to you and the new Bandit.
Jool-ya Creek? Geez no windy roads out that way I'd reckon. You've probably got the right bike for the long commute to the coast though.
There is a few bandits geting around in Townsville but don't think there are many members from up this way on here - mostly NSW and WA with the occasional NZ thrown in.
What do you do in Julia CK?

Welcome...
Good people here. As the bandit attracts the eh how would you say more distinguished rider, you find nothing but good knowledge and good humor here.
That being said there seems to be some confusion already.
We are motorcyclists... we really dont care about definition 1 roads

Welcome Corsa.
Not from North Queensland & never have been, but looking out my window to the road (which I cant see, due to the fog) sometimes wish I was.
Particularly at this time of the year.
Enjoy your riding up there

G'day Corsa, welcome along.
Hmmm, maybe you should get some car tyres on your bandit, & save the bike tyres for when you visit twisty roads!

Enjoy the ride
Hey, I hope you enjoy the ride.
What year model is yours??
I've been loving mine, I have done a bit of commuting on the freeway and in City Traffic as well as riding through the hills, and she is sweet in both environments.
All the best - great to hear you are back on a bike after time away.
Cheers - Luke

Re: Hi from north west Qld
g`day mate, how do.
I lived in Isa for a while bit. I think the biggest roos I`ve ever seen were just out side Julia, Cloncurry side, bit scary really, smashing the brakes as hard as I could, hoping not to stove in the front of my car(night time)
So where you gotta go for service..Townsville?

Re: Hi from north west Qld
Yea but they said I could do the first 1000km service myself as its only an oil change. But will go over and cheque everything anyway. Most of my riding will be to get away anyway and that's the direction ill be going most of the time. Take it for a quick run once a week as pretty boring otherwise strait roads and all. When warranty is up ill do most services myself as I worked on all my older bikes. Just ones you need specialised equipment and parts eg tapets ill get done

Buell in Hughendon
Hey Corsa,
was just out your way to the Isa and back to Tsv. Had a cat nap at the back of the Servo on the western side from about 0530 to 0700.
Stopped at the bakery in hughendon and was talking to a chap who rides a Buell and lives in Hughendon. Very nice but too loud for my old ears.
Mt Beeerwah - still some big roos and in that same area too for some strange reason, plus a LOT of cats, more cats than I have ever seen out that way.
