stock 2011 naked bandit vs stock gixxer 2011 1000.
both had 1200ks on clock

brisbane, woodford, kenilworth, mapleton etc.

through the twisties and straights, no chance. lol.
particularly when the gixxer rider thinks he's casey stoner.

Oh well, I rode the wheels off the bandit and still got smoked.
Still super happy with ma bike.
found the limits of the standard tyres and top end.
I can see where a opening the air flow up will help (above 200)
great ride and great bike.

Unless it actually was Casey Stoner you were racing, What a Face then it would not have matered what bike you bought to the party.
I've always wondered how a Bandit would go in a race against a Gixer in a fantasy race. Now I know.

Once you do all the mods to a Bandit it goes pretty well against sports bikes. The biggest let down is more the front end than the heavy Bandit. Mine fully fuelled weighs spot on 240Kgs. A stock bike is around 10+ kgs heavier.

I'm still to do the front end, just got to get it to someone that knows what they are doing.

Horses for courses. Iv'e owned a GIXXER but now I would sooner have the comfort ( sitting position ) of the Bandit. And 'Christ O mighty' ! How much more power do we really need. BTW With my front end now upgraded she handles beautifully. And She's only a little old 1200.

lol twowheels. I dont think I did. very happy with the bandit. while it needs to be tweaked to suit some of my idiosyncracies (fat arse etc), it suits what I want to do 99.99% of the time. Come warmer weather, it's going to be awesome.

When I was shopping I sat on a few gixxers - didnt like the riding position.
I tried a few other bikes too but the bandit has what I wanted. The low revs normal running is good and
it is comfy. just like hammy said.

I just submitted the post to comment and smile at the day.
It was an awesome ride.
