Sunday 4th March Ride to MT Mee

First topic message reminder :

Any one keen for a ride this weekend. maybe mount mee for lunch etc etc.
any other suggestions welcome

im on holidays so any day suits

so 9:30 at caboolture? What time will you aim to be at the pit stop cafe in Mt Mee ?

I think wife and I will meet you there, no point in running up the highway to caboolture and miss out on the glorious hinterland roads :-)

ive been there a couple of times now and havent booked and there has always been plenty of tables.

I may ring them once i have a definate figure on how many people are coming

Thats cool, i wasn't worried. Just wondering what to do if we get there early. If you had a table booked we could just ask, otherwise we might just go for a ride/walk around the town

Am really looking forward to this ride everyone. In August my wife is also buying a Bandit & will be keen to come on rides. Please note that I am a noob & will probably hang at the back, I am no Rossi!! I have stepped up from a DRZ250 Dirt bike straight to the Bandit 1250 & am still learning the ropes!

No, not on this one, she has other plans this weekend!

Hey Gus, it's not that it's a bloke thing, she is a nervous passenger & would prefer to ride herself. She only has a 250 at the moment & feels she will hold everyone up. Once she gets the Bandit she will be set.

She is more then welcome to ride. My partner will be on her ninja aswell

Yes for the Brisbane riders its not all that far but for myself i have a 300+km round trip and Gus has 200+km round trip

Ive just heard its pouring on the Gold coast .(Sat morn) Shame if the weather wreaks what looks like a good turn out .I dont mind a shower or two
but if its heavy and constant , wellllllllllllllll .

Should be good. i have been watching weatherzone and should be just mostly cloudy.
