Absolutely Pissing down here now (Gold Coast)..Hope its clear by tomorrow.. might be fine up there but I dont fancy getting soaked on the way.. we will see what tomorrow brings

I don't think Huey knows what he's doing, he knows that I haven't been for a ride for a couple of weeks and he should know how much of an irritable arsehole (maybe I need some of that IBS medication they advertise on TV....) I'll be if I don't get a ride in tomorrow! So Huey if you know what's good for the people I work with and the company I work for.... "NO FV(KING RAIN"!!!!

However, if it is raining we will be out. Only the second trip for me with a passenger so I'm not willing to do it if it is raining. Sorry but that's just where my head is at.

Yea, the traffic was worse than normal today but I blame the rain for that.... And the cricket at the gabba tonight....

Hi All, had a great time yesterday & managed to get home dry, looking forward to doing it again sometime.
Perhaps next time the riders from down south (+ the northern riders if they are keen) can meet at my place which is near Samford then head up mount mee from there (much better ride than the highway).
Let me know when its on again, I am disappoint that there were no famous scones available!

Also, forgot to ask, Chip, does your bike have any engine mods? it has some serious acceleration!

Lets face it, table service was crap .Couldnt even manage to bring drinks out together ,some were only warm , she had no idea who ordered what ,
failed to come back and ask if we wanted anything else ,couldnt get the amount of water glass's right ,was not friendly ,cheese cake was
ordinary and what type of cafe runs out of scones the day before and doesnt make any more ,even i can make a scone .
The only thing that was good was US .

I agree.. service was ordinary, my hot chocolate wasnt...these places think they are doing you a favour by being there, then complain when sales are down.
How about a plan for a run down here in my backyard the Gold Coast Hinterland and surrounds.. i used to run tours up there and know a few interesting places etc.. then we can all come back to my place ( very close to the Highway) for drinks maybe a sausage sizzle and a chat (swim too if you feel like it) just an Idea.. will be awhile tho , I agrivated my finger injury on the mt mee ride so got to keep off the bike for a bit.
