Finally back on road!
well, today was my first day back on road courtesy of the RTA minding my licence for the past 3 months
started off getting a set of Road 3's fitted as well as the front brake pads replaced, then it was off to catch up for lost time as well as scrub in the tires & bed in the pads.
headed down to the Nasho, & went through to Bald Hill, turned around, through to Audley, turned around, back to Bald Hill, turned around, past Audley & out of the park.
from there I was a little peckish, so thought I'd hit Mt White for a late lunch. up the F3 to Berowra, then on the Old Pac up to Mt White. wish I'd known that the cafe was closed for renovations, & has changed hands again!
so turned around (again!) & headed back along the Old Pac to Pie in the Sky (just before 4, so a very late lunch). finished up there & headed home.
a successful day - tires are looking well used, & the pads are doing their job properly too!
my riding fitness is crap though - both hands feel like they've been through the wringers.
next test is on Sunday (weather permitting) when I head through to Mt Panorama for a few photos.

oh by the way ... mt white has changed hands and closed for refurb

thanks Baz...............
at this stage there are only 2 of us going (will be checking with some others tomorrow).
it's more of a ride just to get some time back in the saddle, plus I'm going to take the camera to get shots on the circuit (& get photos of me on the circuit), so not necessarily a lot of twisties!
it's planned to meet at the Shell at Moore Park (Sth Dowling Street, opp the Supa Centre) for a 7:30am departure.
here's the current route http://binged.it/xrAKIP
if anyone is keen, let me know. I'll post on here between 6:30 & 7am if it gets canned.
