Name Your Bandit.

Interested to hear if anyone has nicknamed their Bandit, and if so , how did you come up with the name ? Why is it always a girls name also ?

Like a lot of Suzuki's, It is Suzie. why a girls name? well I don't like riding boys.

Suzie, of course. It was Suzie 2 when the old bike was still here, but now its shortened to Suzie

My girlfriend calls it my other woman

I have'nt named my girl yet, but I will give it some serious thought and try and come up with something original. Hmmmmmm.

It was my mum who named my old DT250 "Detol" she was correct of course

"el Lobo" Spanish for The Wolf.

because it was , "Japanese piece of crap " ,related to "British piece of crap " . Useally used when fitting wheel an spacers .

Strangely "Italian piece of crap " has not been used .

I call mine Gerri, after the lady I bought it from. Each time without fail when I park it after a ride I say "Thanks Gerri".

Monique. Don't know why. These things just seem to come to me. She's currently tucked in with Hayley and Heidi, the twin Honda twins I got for my dearly beloved. My TT600R with mixed parentage, Isobella - A large Italian girl that is too big to say 'no' to... But yeah. Names just seem to come along like the old Landruiser I had. 'Rosie' - "She aint exactly pretty.. And she aint exactly small"

Nice one Mitch. My girls name still has'nt come to me. It will though, I'm sure. My cars are both blokes. Frank and Freddy. Both Fords of course.

The DATSUN 200B is "GEORGE " after its one owner who died the day before we bought it ($250,never meet him )
It corroded a hole through the block 3 months ago with water pouring out .I screwed in a sparkplug with "fix-it " putty . Still fine .
Doesnt go any faster though .

Speaking of which - I've never even thought of naming mine... once had a Cordia Turbo and a girl I knew had a Diahatsu... she called the Cordia "Claudia" and the Diahatsu was 'Lady Di' - then she got a Volvo and it was 'Valerie'... My dogs name is 'Benny' - he normally comes when he hears you (which isn't often now he's in his 14th year and a little deaf!! )

I call my bike either "The Bandit" or "The Bike". My wifes bike was called either "The Monster", "The Ducati" or "That expensive Italian thing in the garage". It's now called "That peice of expensive Italian scrap metal".

the missus named mine penis as she reckons with it being such a large bike it is a male phallus extension. Then she gets her own bike and names it nee Bahn. The big hokey is that she then sees the new Beemeer and asked if i would like to get that one instead of the bandit

I told you all the name would come to me, and it has. Rosie. From AC/DC fame, " Whole Lotta Rosie ". She, the Bandit, fits the bill in all departments. "She aint exactly pretty". "She aint exactly small". "To my surprise, Rosie never stops". She Rocks !
