Bandit down

Just wanted to let you all know that my brother (sloth_27) had an accident on his bandit yesturday afternoon.

He went for a ride up to newcastle. On the way back we crashed his bike not far after berowra ferry, heading towards penrith. He doesnt remember 10 minutes before the accident, so he has no idea of what happened.

The bike may be a write off. We has airlifted out. He ended up with 3 broken ribs, callapsed lung and fractured shoulder blade. He is doing ok now. Should be out of hospital next week.

Got the bike home today. Had a good look over it. Forks snapped, but may be a good thing. Looks like the steering head isnt damaged. Landed on the left side, so the new yoshi pipe didnt get a scratch.

Bike may just be out on the road again soon.
Also good news, matt said it wont stop him from riding.

We haven't heard anything for a while, so I'm just wondering how Matt is doing, is he likely to get out on a ride anytime soon?

Also how is the Bandit resurrection coming?

Yeah matt is pretty good. recovered pretty well.
The fixed the bike and it had its first test ride last weekend...all is good.
It got a new paint job....gloss black that we baught at auto one and did it our self. Came up alot better than expected. Looks good actually.
Matt is hoping to go for his first ride on sunday.

Ill see if i can post up some pics of before and after.

All ways good to get that first ride out of the way. Glad he has healed up ok..
