Trivia .....
First topic message reminder :
What does everone think about a TRIVIA thread
Stuff that maybe of no use to most people but really handy to the others. Maybe a good DVD ,something they have made, seen ,heard of ,
cooked ,been too .Minor things that do not really warrant a post of there own.(like most of my stuff ,there beat you to it )
Like taking a tractor tyre up north to float your Bandit across a river to a football selection ,the taste of beer ,who's state is
better at Rugby League. (may be not that) .Something that may make someone else say ,"why didnt i think of that".
Good idea or just post it on "off topic discussions " or not post it at all? (feeling vulnerable now )

Re: Trivia .....
Yes it is a bit depressing Gus. What makes it even worse is when you see the news and they show the Aussie cricketers practising for the Boxing day test in Melbourne, and the SUN is shinning ! WTF ! I blame Anna.

It`s a good thing I`m not one to rub it in , Adelaide has also been magic in the weather department as well
Oh well I suppose you could be worse off & live in Darwin at the moment
PS my youngest daughter & her boyfriend are off to the gold coast next week

Re: Trivia .....
I've owned the Bandit for two months now and I've put a bit over four thousand kays on it. Managed to get rained on four times. Did somebody say that Tassie is the "Sunshine State" at present??? Dream on, I know. Perhaps a holiday down here might solve the RD, rider deprivation, problem Gus? I realise you know the roads down here. Riders Nirvana, my biased view any way. Last ride met up with four Bandit owners so you would be in good company.

I just hope the "powers that be" are letting water out of the dam so that we dont have a repeat (manmade) flood.

Re: Trivia .....
How many here own or have owned a Mitsubishi Wanker 4X4 (Pajero in Spanish means "Wanker") http://chameleon-translations.com/Index-Companies-pajero.shtml
And it is more than urban legend that the Mitsubishi Starion which followed the Mitsubishi Colt was meant to be the Mitsubishi Stallion but in ordering the badges for the cars from Spain the Japanese pronunciation came across as Starion and so we had the Colt, Starion and Lancer.

Re: Trivia .....
I once owned back in 1985 a 2litre Sigma - that must surely translate to 'POS or Piece of Shite'. It put me off buying anything made by Mitsubishi since. But I do notice the current Triton has a 3 tonne towing capacity which beats the opposition.
