Weekend Ride 8-9th January 2011

Well despite everybody else's bad luck we continued our good run from the Narooma trip, only got a few light misty showers, heat was a bigger problem.

On Saturday we rode from Newcastle to Broke then down the Putty Road to Colo Heights where we met up with Baz.

Then along Bells Line and over to Mt Victoria. We had lunch with Baz at Little Hartley.

Dave ordered an iced coffee, but got more than he bargained for.

After that Baz turned back and we rode to Oberon for a quick ale then up to Bathurst for a quick lap.
You should try it in the reverse direction, it's all wrong




Then we rode to Neville, what a top spot for a quiet weekend.

On Sunday we rode up to Blayney then back to Bathurst for a coffee. Then across to Rylstone via Sofala.
Sorry no pictures from Sunday but there will be a video from Bylong Valley Way, when I'm not too tired.
Lunch at Denman then home via Broke and Wollombi.



Great ride, weather cooperated just a bit worse for wear.

I like this nature photo stuff turning up .I can get a bit "motorcycled out " sometimes.

Yeah I'm happy with this camera which is my first DSLR and its a Canon EOS 60D and those shots are taken at poster size.
I entered these photos in the Canberra Times photo competition, but they haven't published my pics yet

Don'T know if you have seen it yet on the news ,look for a 4wd getting dragged down the road in Toowoomba. Inland tsunami.
Waves bigger than a car in Toowoomba ,unbelievable scenes up here .Don'T miss the news if you can.

Ive stayed at neville twice before with NSWR. its a great little pub. we usually have 20 drunken people in there...and the owners are so nice.
hope we can get there for another overnighter soon. if NSWR posts one up, i will let you all know.
