Anzac weekend ride to Western NSW

Went for a ride out to Nyngan and Coonamble for the Anzac day Races and back via Warren, Gilgandra, Dunedoo,Merriwa, Sandy Hollow, Bylong, Rylstone, Lithgow and back home. Did a total of 1628 ks over the 5 days (3 days of riding). Lots of Locusts out Nyngan way and dont they smell nice cooking on the Zorst when you stop.

The last bit of the ride sounds good, but judging from our ride to Coonabarabran some of it would have been rather flat and boring, glad yo didn't fall asleep at the "wheel"

Thats a long ride, did u ride all of it by your self?
Bloody grass hoppers. there been bad out here for about 4weeks. they say the bloody thing will be around until july.
This is my car after 100k drive to the river. poor Bandit has only been out 4or5 times in the last couple of weeks.

Yeah i was riding both ways alone and met friends at Nyngan and Coonamble. Those bloody "Hoppers" are a pain to get off vehicle body work. Have had similar probs when living in Dubbo and Narrabri. I expect i will find a few up under the tank when i take it off to clean the air filter.
