Re: Powerbronze
I bought a powerbronze aeroflow screen and at the time I forgot that they were sponsoring the forum .. so stupid me paid the full price.
I haven't yet done any freeway speeds on it yet, but have done some commuting and the wind turbulence is definitely reduced. I will comment on high speed when I get around to doing some.
And I think it looks great. here are some pics;

Re: Powerbronze
$146 plus postage $15
with the 10% discount, postage would be nil.
Cow of thing to fit but I would be inclined to blame Suzuki for that, actually if you know where to stick your finger on a the back of the rubber /nut thingamajig it wouldn't keep falling out when trying to screw in the screw, which I can happily report I know now.

Re: Powerbronze
That looks like the same dark tint double bubble that I purchased from Powerbronze back in November.
It's certainly more effective than the stock screen, but not as good as I'd like. Maybe I was just too used to riding behind the huge screen on the v-strom!

Re: Powerbronze
I should also have said the screen came with a rubber strip to go along the top edge .. I might fit it just to see what it looks like .. sometime.

Powerbronze, great to deal with
Can definitely recommend this company and found Clive from Powerbronze offering great customer service.
Have their bellypan, flush mount indicators up front and mini-leds out back.
From a panel-beater's point of view the quality of the belly pan is of the utmost, no casting marks/edges and an easy fit. Would no doubt imagine all body panels supplied by Powerbronze to be of the same quality.
Regards,
Nathan

Re: Powerbronze
Massive epic thread necro... is the discount with Powerbronze still a thing? I’m considering buying a bunch of their kit. Also what’s up with the Aus store nowadays, no online ordering? I’m guessing you can also order direct from the UK?

Re: Powerbronze
So I can confirm the discount is still a thing! Powerbronze Australia are on a hiatus at the moment and directing their sales enquires to PB UK, so I emailed UK sales and got this response:
“ We can offer you the same 10% discount, you can enter the code UKFORUM1 on the Cart Page and it will apply the discount for you.”
Placed an order last night for a tail tidy, seat cowl, crash protectors, rear hugger and swingarm protectors. Can’t wait to get it all on the bike

Re: Powerbronze
New arse end with hugger, tail tidy with shotgun taillights and LED indicators, and paddock stands/swingarm protectors:
Definitely a lot slimmer and tidier than before without sacrificing much on the way of practicality, toolmwrap still fits in its usual spot. Do need to get a LED flasher to fix the flash rate though, but I’ll wait til I’ve done the front lights for that.

Re: Powerbronze
Is there a number plate light somewhere in the shadows?
It looks ok on the naked, IMHO if it was on a GSF1250S/SA or a GSX1250FA it would make the rear look slim and the front look bigger

The tail lights each have a clear section at the bottom so white light shines through onto the plate. Quite nifty as it means there’s no separate bulbs or wiring at all for the plate lighting.

And compliance markings/certification? (ADR EU or JIS etc)

Yeah I’d agree, and I think it kinda fits the nature of the naked Bandit- a basically simple uncomplicated bike built around a big lump of engine. Although mine is actually getting an aftermarket bikini fairing eventually. I’ll also be getting rid of the front quarter plastics and replacing them with smaller expansion mesh panels which will make the front look less bulky.

Re: Powerbronze
Yep, and they can’t ping me for no rear guard coverage as that requirement was dropped from the ADRs a few years back. This ain’t my first modified bike, haha. I try to keep things sensibly within the rules, that Ixil exhaust is baffled and not stupid loud either.

There still Isa requirement but nowhere as tough as priorMeatbix wrote:Yep, and they can’t ping me for no rear guard coverage as that requirement was dropped from the ADRs a few years back. The standard Bandit Arse does it easily
Re: Powerbronze
As long as it meets the decibel rating, usually at 4000 rpm in neutral, it's all good. "Manner in which operated" could come into play.
