New Powerbronze Airflow (Double Bubble) Screen for GSX1250FA or 650F
Got my new Powerbronze screen the other day and fitted it yesterday.
Seems to work ok, better than the standard one. Air flow feels like its going over my head instead of into my neck. So a win there.
Only problem I had with fitting it, I had to drill out the mounting holes to 10mm. Don't know where they got the idea the holes needed to be smaller, maybe its different on the 650.
Powerbronze screens have a small red rubbery sticker on one side. I managed to peel it off clean

Nice looking screen. It seems to work for you. Just wondering how tall you are? I'm 6'2''. If you're similar in height I'll try one out. Copped a bit of a hiding last weekend going into a 25 knot breeze sitting on 110. I get a lot of wind noise/buffeting with the standard screen.

Do you carry a pillion? I'd be interested in knowing whether it gives them any respite at speed.
Cheers.

I'm 5'9" its not perfect but its better. I didn't want to go for a touring screen like the one Eagle Screens do, far too tall. Makes the bike look stupid.

Thanks Madmax. I finished up having a look around and had to make a decision between comfort and looks. I finished up ordering a "Zero Gravity" touring screen.

I live in Tasmania at present and sofar we've had a cool summer. Only last week I froze riding around the lakes district so the decision was made for the larger screen. I hope it doesn't turn the bike into a mobile bathtub.

Try here crimsondawn & why not pop into the introduce yourself section & tell us a bit about yourself
You don`t have to take the inner fairing right out , only the 2 top bolts ( and you can swing the speedo housing to one side as well )

Mine directs the wind higher than the standard one & probably more at my head area now( but not annoyingly ). I don`t get any buffeting behind vans, trucks etc. any more , but can get a bit with my missus on the back if she moves up close behind me in some wind conditions but she gets absolutely none .I`m about 5 ft 10 & I think it`s an improvement for me . Mine is the Powerbronze bubble as well but they do others / check out their web site. Aust. distributor

That not a bad write on the two wheeled Texan site. Its pretty straight forward, once you've removed all the bolts including the mirror bases the screen will come out easily. As I said the only problem I had was the holes in the new screen were too small and needed to be drilled out to 10mm first.
