Nice green country and quiet roads. Is there a better place in the world than Australia? Besides QLD I mean . . . 
I am also guilty of taking photos of my fingers at the same time as taking photos of the country.

Got to the end of the tar in the last picture and thought, hmm, adventure bike ? ?. WON'T be going on rough stuff or balls out, so After a quick comparison with vstrom 1000 up to 2013, power&torque&weight&fork travel all within cooee of the Bandit, extra outlay of $$, maybe just put new fork springs in and some adventure type tyres.

I reckon they are good value for just over $100K as long as you are not looking for work

I'm not a guy who mods my bikes too much (exhaust and blinkers so far) but depending on whether I re-reregister my '02 this October this is something I might dabble with so far as off road tyres, suspension and handlbars just to get people looking twice.
I do love my Bandit though so maybe next year as a 20 year rebirth . . .
