XJ 900 Ex - Police

A guy up the road has this for sale. Mid-late 80's.
Ex- Vic Police, panniers, headlight, sidecovers, huge fairing and shield. All ran well when last used on weekend trip away a few years ago.
Hasn't been started for fair while, fork seals leaked onto front pads - unbolted calipers.
I'm at Tura Beach NSW. He is not going to give it away, but he doesn't want an arm or a leg. ( maybe a couple of fingers ) Tony - 0402 292 394

I havent asked him what he wants, he knows it's worth more than nothing, but it's not worth a lot either, but I reckon a few hundred, send Tony a txt or give him a call. Sentimental value.

$500 would be a good buy . No tire kicking ,drive in ,make sure it isn't seized ( 5-6th gear turn back wheel ) ,drive out .Don't even try to start it .
$20 7'' round headlight , $15 clamps . Throw the fairings away . Tires and away you go after about 3 days cleaning . Sell the panniers for $100
Im in Tasmania so freight counts me out . I just sold a nice one for $2500 ,I liked it .
Id be all over that if it was in Tas

It's not going to take a lot to get running that's for sure. (Have 5 in the shed and Blacky has just dropped a bearing in box , big clunk , clunk when clutch out , otherwise. .....)
