Isle of Man tt
Love the TT race, and I'm so disappointed that no free to air channels have anything to do with it anymore.
SBS I think was the last to air the race. ..probably getting on 5 or more year's ago now.
I'm out of town at the moment working, and staying in a camp that has foxtel. Heaven sent !!!
I got into camp right at the start of the 2019 TT, and have being watching as much as I can.
Good to see another Aussie on the podium in a class.
David Johnson in the Super Stock class on a BMW, placed third.
Amazing how quick the 1000cc Super Stock bikes are. There's not a lot of difference between them and the open class. They gave a run down on what changes they can do, and it's good to see they're quite strict this year, almost getting back to what you buy off the shelf...almost!!! No engine changes at all. Exhaust change. New wiring loom and mapping. Suspension and brake upgrades.
They're all around the 200 rwhp.
Cameron Donald was the last Aussie to make any mark, and that was in the open event.
Sad it's now over for another year, but foxtel will still be playing repeats of what I've missed for a few days yet.
Bucket list event for me, and it's a goal to make it one year.

I'll have to check out the SBS replays
Lat few years I've kept a bit of an eye on how David "Davo" Johnson has been going, he lives in Europe most of the time but does get back to Adelaide for a bit each year, I've met him a few times through work when he's been home. Davo managed a 3rd place in the 1000cc superstock at this years TT
