Personally I think bikes  will actually go less techno . A mate just bought a new Ducati scrambler ,it has abs nothing more .

I think the skills , instinct and the feeling of being in control are all part of the enjoyment of riding . It would be a shame to see some wanker thinking the bike has any problems which may arise under control , and come unstuck .

The reason BMW say they are not planning on selling one is they know no real motorcyclist will buy one

I'd probably consider it if I could set a timer and grab a quick nap for 10 minutes on a ride more than 200klm long. 
There was a time back in my prime when I could ride for more than 400klm without a sleep but with that timer I could be as good as I ever was.  Very Happy.
Technology scares me.
