Remapping 1250
Im looking at a full remap and dyno for my 1250, has anyone done this and how much better is this then getting a power commander?
What is the power comparison from standard?

I haven't done an ecu remap. But a power commander remap smoothes out the power delivery. Full exhaust air box mods and secondary removal mechanical or ecu override net good gains

Re: Remapping 1250
I have Cams, headers and can, and mine has been done through the ecu. I have removed the butterflies and it's going back in in September to be sused out again, if mapping the the ecu isn't going to work I have a Power commander on hand to use...........Personally I would rather go through the ecu.

Re: Remapping 1250
I spoke to a shop today and he said he can do the full remap of ECU which will give complete control of tuning through every gear rather then just overall.
Full remap and custom tune which will be 4-5hours on the dyno for $800 that’s cheaper then going the power commander
All booked in for 4weeks time

It's creeping up on your 4 weeks, can you let us know how you get on please? A guy I go to quoted me around $480(if memory serves me correct) for a full remap of the ecu.

After having a hole carved in the air cleaner lid, I would recommend that anyone considering have it done remove the lid and take your steed for a blast.
If you can handle the noise, hack away Personally I couldn't stand the noise it made so I put a stock lid back in place.
