Time for another ride
I was planning to do a ride down to the South in about a month but clashes of schedules have moved it forward to next week.
Just a rough outline
Newcastle to Moruya 4th Feb
Moruya to Omeo 5th Feb
Omeo to (not sure yet) 6th Feb
NSY to Taralga 7th Feb
Taralga to Newcastle 8th Feb
Hopefully we can meet up with some members or you can even tag along where applicable.

Re: Time for another ride
Let me know where your "Not Sure Yet" is and I might be able to come out and meet you.
I recommend the Hilltop Hotel in Omeo. Doesn't look flash but comfortable and cheap. They put our bike in the rear compound overnight.
The Golden Age, down the road, which looks flash inside and out. Your bike will be out on the street.

Thanks for the tip, I thinkNSY will be in the same general area , Bright maybe, depending on the logistics, we do have the option of stretching to 6 days.

The Golden Age is a far better pub with fuel, good coffee and bakery across the road.

We had great rooms and great meals at the Hilltop, where the Golden Age couldn't make us welcome

Re: Time for another ride
Count me in.
I got the beemer back on the road only just yesterday, I'll get a new rear tyre tomorrow.
I can put you in a tent (a very good $1200 tent + mattresses + warm sleeping bags if you don't want to stay at the waterfront pub in Moruya, otherwise I can drag the matresses inside)

yep, with the breakfast the Hilltop laid on, none of us were tempted by a bakerymadmax wrote:2wheelsagain wrote:The Golden Age is a far better pub with fuel, good coffee and bakery across the road.

Not only that, the hospitality they showed to Barry and his Pony was awesome!!
Re: Time for another ride
I thought you may be interested in how it worked out, Baz couldn't join us due to the legendary reliability of BMW although it was good to see him at Moruya for dinner and a drink or two.
