That time fuel time again
Coming back from a trip to Wiseman's Ferry on Wednesday, I thought, Bluey, you are just a little doughy aren't you. Not dying but not crisp going past 4k.
Checked speedo and roughly 46,000 km since I did the " Gus's fuel fix", time for it again. Water would trickle through this time, spray, scrape & water flowing through.
I'll do the air filter as well, just looking at whats involved in plugs & valve clearance as well as they haven't been done since I've had it & put 52, 000 on it.
Good timing, 2 weeks ago I returned from 4 week, 5000km trip towing the trailer loaded with the tent etc, Lismore, Hervey Bay, Brisbane.

Why don't you buy a BMC filter FM294/02 (better than K&N) they have 3 ply filter media, the K&N has 2 ply.
Still breathes heaps better than a oem style filter, even when filthy.
And, me being a newbie, Gus's Fuel Fix ?

Well, you know old habits die hard, plus never heard of them until you mentioned them .
Hit the "Home" button, scroll down to Mechanical section, click / tap, then I think it's the 2nd heading called " fuel pump fix".
Gus is the guy who sorted that problem long, long ago. Plenty of info & pics on how to fix it.
