2010 Christmas Ride!!

Its nearly christmas, so lets have a christmas party ride thingo
Ive talked about the Denman-Rylstone loop before, So this shall be the Christmas Party.

DATE: Sunday 12/12/2010
MEET: Macgraths Hill Maccas for a 0900 leave
ROUTE: Leave Maccas and head up Putty. Stop for a stretch at Halfway house. Continue on the Bolga for fuel. Then onto Denman for lunch.
After lunch we head along some brilliant roads to Rylstone (if you think putty is good, this road is 100000 times better). Then down the Hwy to lithgow for some more fuel. Then home along the bells line or down the mountian along the GWH.

This is a long ride. a good 600km or so. Thats why we only do it in summer. But it really is a great ride. I know it is a fair way for people that live closer to the city than myself, but you wont want to miss out. And for the newer members, its open to anybody, not just bandits. So if any friends or family ride, their more then welcome to come along.

Due to needing new tyres and such...i wont be able to make this ride now. I shall repost the ride for a later date.

Did halfway house burn down awhile back? If so did they rebuild it?

Yes. No.

Last time I passed the Halfway Roadhouse there was some activity there.
I don't know if you ever saw the big silver statue that was being built out the back of Jerry's Cafe at Kulnura .. the big silver man was last seen at the halfway roadhouse.

Last time I went past i had just missed a kangaroo.Saw its wiskers about to hit the front wheel then it kind of jumped backwards.Couldnt remember much after that really. Thought i'm go here.

This silver "man" BAZ? Actually it seems to be double sided with boy and a girl bits.





There was a plaque on it about some art project or something or other.

That's the stuff nightmares are made off.Just like CLOWNS.
