2010 Snowy Ride

Morning all,

Is anybody doing the Snowy Ride this November? It's the first time for me and a few mates and I'm really looking forward to it. I have another mate who's attending and he's taking his Russian Ural and sidecar to the event. I've been in it a few times and it's not bad...

Even thought I live on the door step, I won't be doing the Snowy Ride. The idea of that many bikes on those roads at once makes me a tad nervous.

As for sidecars, to me they are like trikes and are for the sick or injured, but each to their own.

I do an annual ride each march down that way. I love the roads. Pretty amazing. But i dont go on the "snowy ride". Just to many bikes for my liking. From what im told there are alot of those hero types.

We always go the week after this.
The roads are empty, plenty of accommodation and not a copper to be seen...
