Daytona Handlebar 1999 Bandit 1200s
Gents,
Just putting on some Daytona Handlebars on the ol Bandit 1200s. I have an issue with the upper brake hose not being
long enough.
The overall length of the hose is 380mm end to end. I will need a hose 420mm roughly to bring the master cylinder closer
to the throttle.
Does anyone know of a straight swap for another suzuki brake hose that is longer??? maybe sv1000 or similar.
I would prefer not to go down the braided hose route, as I will then need to change clutch cable as well because
I am anal and they both need to look stock and the same colour etc!!!
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Mick

Straight swap...I can't answer.
Years ago, I experimented with a gix 1000 master, and had to get my braided alteted. Different degree ends to suit the set up of the new master.
One thing you must check, is measure the lines with the front wheel off the ground, to allow for fork stoke, if too short. ...not good !!!!!

Hi mtbeerwah,
Thanks for that, I only need the hose from the cylinder to the junction so no need to worry about fork travel.
Cheers

Ahhh....I've always gotten rid of the splitter, I forgot about that concept.
You could always get one made from any hydraulic joint if in desperation. A last resort.
Just go the full braided twin lines, get rid of the jumble of shit on the front !!!
