Who's up on action cameras?
I bought a go-pro along time ago, but thinking of a second camera.
I've come across the budget brand, DBPower, and in particular, the " DBPower N6 4K" .
This thing has a touch screen, and looks quiet easy to use. From brief youtube clips, and reviews, it seems to have nice optics and colours, but some say, the sound is basic, which doesn't worry me.
Has anyone here had experience with it, and what do you think?
As far as cheap cameras go, it's a higher price, the cheapest being $120, and I've seen some dill trying to flog it for over $210, now that's not going to happen. Still far cheaper than brand names.
Let's call a spade a spade...it's a go-pro knock off. Obviously it probably isn't as good as high end, but then again, I'm not willing to pay high end.
Curious to here.
John.

Re: Who's up on action cameras?
I own 2 X Drift cameras 2 X GoPro 3's and a SJ4000 GoPro knock off. The SJ4000 is as good as the GP3 without question. Latest GP's may leave it for dead I don't know. My Drift cameras are better than the GP's but once again I'm not talking current tech and a fair bit more coin. Jim Coleman used Contour Roams but once again way more expensive that your knock off.
I reckon for $120 its worth a shot. Super cheap cameras have wobbly images and a rolling shutter effect. No camera has good audio on a bike doing 100+kmh unless a good et mic is fitted. I use a Zoom digital recorder and sinc them all up in FCPX.

Yeah, I've taken the gamble, and it's in the mail
Its got a bit going on by the reviews , so it could be a good thing.
