When i was 4 I had a Sherriff's Star ( think Cowboys) . I can remember a moment looking at it pinned to by chest and thinking " i'm one lucky kid having this ".

The Tardis symbol seems more appropriate. Got the sherif star but what about the Bandit he has to catch?

I know they want ridiculous money just for a trailer with a tent in it.
Did you consider the advantages of making it look like a commercial vehicle?... you never see signs saying " No overnight shipping"
Re: Hippy Truck takes shape lol
In the same vane.
If you can enter the pantec from the rear of the cabin, ie cab is joined to pantec with a flexible membrane, then it becomes a camper RV and is no longer a commercial vehicle. Rego and greenslips are cheeper, in NSW at least. Unsure about Tassie.

That's a bit different to SA, here as long as at least 60% of the available load area is taken up with a permanently fitted bed, other cupboards etc and it has a kitchen, it becomes a "Motorised Caravan" and as such, no longer a commercial vehicle

Its two weeks till " STEADY " (Hippy truck's name ) hits the road. Destination is Ables Bay Tasmania .
I just looked it up on google and there is a town just above us called WOODSTOCK .
That's a good omen . Truck should fit right in .

Given the lack of mobile coverage ( telstra is best I believe ) in parts of Tassie , does that mean you will be off line for a while Gus ? .................if so ,I will wish you well , and I hope you enjoy your new adventure .( If you do have coverage, I look forward to your updates )gus wrote:Its two weeks till " STEADY " (Hippy truck's name ) hits the road.
