Well...I`m glad you 2 aren`t selling your oil burners.
They`re a too good a bike to get rid of.
Easy to live with, and maintain. Just except their idiosyncrasies.
I`m 2500k`s, from cracking 200 000k`s. Its taken twelve and a half years to rack up, those K`s on that bike.

My number one bike for around town, is my drz400e.
It`s got a whopping 37HP. But how much power do you need around town, and at 138kg wet weight, and the right gearing, you don`t need anymore power.
With road tyres on it...SUCH, a fun bike to ride.

Re: gen 2 b1200 limited editon 35,000km
Thanks mt beerwah. Im happy to hang onto my 2. Wish i could take the tracker on the road now that i got around to fitting the gixxer shock and those dog bones you gave me. Rear tyre barely off the ground on the centre stand. Bit of an effort to fit becsuse of bolts with a bit of light corrosion in the bearing sleeves. Only relieved the battery box ever so slightly to make room for the shock reservoir. A pretty neat and tidy fit really. Looks like its oem fit.
Bike now has the new needles and k&n, shock and different gearing. Looking forward to testing at willowbank soon.
If anyone has a second hand set of aftermarket headers for the 1200, i would be interested in hearing from them.

That's just stupid .............maybe they intend to amend the year every few years so they make more money in the mean time .Chook wrote:gus wrote:Do I have it right that in some states its 25 years and others 30 years (classic rego)?

That's the only reason I didn't keep my VX800, it changed over 10 years ago, been some rumours of relaxing it again but nothing has come of it
