Bandit 1200 ptoject
I'm a bit sick of looking at tl'S so it was time to have a look at the Bandit before the fuel turned into varnish .Bike comes from a forum member .
Everything comes apart without a problem .
Why do Suzuki put this screen in ,isn't that the job of the airfilter ?
Danmoto exhaust goes in the bin . Somewhere around Newcastle there is some exhaust packing because there was none left in the can .

I had a huge problem with the "make your own " style braided lines . Once I did disturbed them ,they leaked . I put them in the bin and ordered some others .
Not they type of thing I wont to be unsure of.

Its not often I cut a speedo in half, but it was the only way I could get to the inside of the glass to clean it.

They were on the bike when I got it, I'm glad I was never tempted to play with them.
Re: Bandit 1200 ptoject
Once I played with them they said "that's enough ,we retire " . And fair enough .

In the furniture world they call that look "distressed" or "shabby Chic"
In the Bandit world, we can call it " Gussed"

My guess was Gus was going for the Barry Sheene XR 69. (And I thought it was a pretty damn good attempt)

Apart from being blury its a fine looking donk (old school talk for a " motor" for anyone under 35, lol )Unlike motors of today when no one give a shit about plumbing or wiring .(old school talk for " i'm a grumpy old fart " )

Re: Bandit 1200 ptoject
i reckon the fairings overpower the rest of the bike. too much black. Maybe one of the low gloss metallic colours which seem popular with the hot european car hoons.
