Just wondering if anyone has anything to say about them thinking of putting one on the bandit

Re: 06 gsf1200 scorpion exhaust
I have an 09 1250 with one fitted by previous owner. It's still very quiete with the standard headers but looks heaps better, is smaller than the original and WAY lighter. It sounds a little better but I don't hear the exhaust over wind noise at highway speeds. Are you looking for a better sound or just performance?
I can't comment on performance as I haven't ridden mine with the standard can apart from the initial test ride. My standard can is sitting on my shelf in the shed.

I love my scorpion, I had one on my GSX1400 as well, it sounds awesome, I get a lot of compliments, plenty of noise and it helps it breath.

while your at it, you may as well lift the needles in the carb to compliment it.

I havnt done any other mods to it yet (airbox and filter) and i do say yet lol
Would lifting the needle at this point be a waist or would it help

Not a waist of time. Its all relative to air flow.
They`re lean from factory, its now leaner from less restriction.

Carbion Can Company
When I had my Bandit 1200 in the late 90's.I put a Carbon Can company end can,KandN airfilter and Dynojet kit on.I had it set up on a Dyno and it gave 120 bhp, about 20 up on standard, which I thought was an excellent gain for the money.
