New to Bandits, Old to bikes
First topic message reminder :
Well the garage is looking a bit crowded at the moment, The new 2008 1250s is just fitting in, the outgoing BMW R1100RS will be gone this weekend so the bike level will be back to the normal 3 bikes.
My other ride is sweet little Honda NT650 Bros, which is just a great fun bike to ride, lovely v twin torque and handling well beyond the norm for 1988, this one is a keeper, impossible to ride without smiling, it also is giving my daughter some L plate time. The 3rd bike is my sons YZ125 dirt squirter, he wants to upgrade to a yz250x (2 stroke) so he can mix it with his mates 350's and 450's on the straights as well as creaming them in the tight stuff.
The Bandit is a nice clean example in the dark blue with a yoshi slip on, top box, tank cover and bag, MJM seat & oxfords grips. Picked it up on Sunday in Sydney and rode it 550 Ks down the Hume to home, I sure aint going to miss the BMW! When I left the PO on Sunday morning it was raining lightly and the PO informed me that that was the first time it had been ridden in the rain!!
I have had a pretty good look around the forum and there is a wealth of knowledge here, so I am sure that I will be using your collective expertise and hopefully be able to assist a few others as I have on other forums.
