I've stayed at the Pemberton back packers. Clean house with no back packers in site. Parked my bike out the back. The Bridgetown Freemasons has been good in the past too http://www.freemasonshotel.net.au as has the Nannup hotel.

Closer to my place Wellington weir (honeymoon pool or took Jones drive) is great if you have a swag or tent. Preferably in summer
