Hypothetical Question.
OK. There has been a lot of talk about members buying new , or different bikes. So.........
If money was no object. And you could only have one. What bike would it be ?
I would have a Bimota DB7 Oro Nero.
Mainly just to look at.
ps. It weighs 159kg and puts out 126.8kW.

Re: Hypothetical Question.
Given I'd still want to have a machine predominantly aimed at sports-touring, I'd probably have to go for the K1300s. The money is required to pay the running costs!

Re: Hypothetical Question.
This is a hard one, as it doesn`t really exist..but it does.
Norton has/had try to revive the NRV 588 Rotary, and had Michael Dunlop lined up to ride it at the 09 TT Isle of Man. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlruit_video-michael-dunlop-interview-on-norton-at-tt09_auto
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph-n7-naQxo
All I know is there was teething problems, and the following years, Norton has been there with the chassis they want, but with the
temporary, V4 Aprilia engine, until they sort out their problems.
So anyway, if it had done well, they had talked of production, and also making a NRV 700, as well, which in road trim, was to be about
200BHP
Come on Norton, I`m waiting!!!

Of course it would need a new paint job

Like Barry, I'm confused. If it's 2.3 million why is the advertising blurb written for the LAMS market?

I`d go one. I`m quiet excited with the thought of KW power.
They don`t have a musical note which we all adore, but the 100% all the time torque thing is something I want to experience

Re: Hypothetical Question.
I'm guessing they just programed that so that they could do whatever they wanted to. It would have been interesting to watch the acceleration. I like what Jay Leno has to say about it after he test rode one. "Just imagine if they had invented the electric bike first" ? Then the petrol driven one comes along. Riders would say "Whats this clutch thing and changing gears all about".
I wonder how many years it will be until they are common place ?
