Hello from Melbourne
Hi all, I've just upgraded from a cbr500r to a 2012 Bandit S and haven't stopped smiling since!

Welcome cgadaleta, the 1250 gives you plenty to smile about, especially coming from a smaller bike
Check out the Vic/SA rides and get onto madmax if you up for a overnight ride in May and meet a few others from SA and VIC

Well that's a familiar pic
Glad you took the bait and joined up.
Lots of info here and a great bunch of people.
We keep it pretty informal as most of us have met.
Hope to see you flogging our Victorian roads for many years on your Bandit. Just don't try riding at night.....

Re: Hello from Melbourne
You're not alone there paul, i'm a member of 2 local footy forums where I'm "Ian". I would have used that here as well but it wouldn't let me have itpaul wrote:You think you've got imagination problems Take a guess what my name iscgadaleta wrote:first initial and last name, my imagination is really that goodBosco15 wrote:Welcome Cgadaleta.

There are no "Ian" or "ian" on our member list. I can make it happen if you're interested

I took it for a ride last night and I don't see what all the fuss is about? The headlight works much better than my 1974 rd350 (still has an American sealed beam unit so I can't see anything down the left side of the road)

It amazes me how import vehicles (not just bikes) get approved for rego without all of the required mod's, it's no wonder so many people get disappointed, angry etc when they try to transfer them into SA and get a big list of things to do that should have been addressed pre 1st registration
