Got different tyres and about 10k more kms on the clock but she's still kickin around locally (well kinda)

Still with only 23,000 on the clock. Mine was still improving at that distance.
Asking top dollar though.

I met a fellow a while back who had never had a set of tyres fitted to a motorbike.  When they wear out, he sells the bike.  Can't say as I agree with the philosophy, but then he only rides Harleys.  If you are on to a good thing, why not stick with it.  

Agree with 2wheelsagain.  Mine's got around that on it, and it IS still improving.  Smoother in the gearbox and the engine is more willing.  Not to part with it anytime soon.  

So far, I've not felt the need to go any of the modifications that get so much coverage here, though I've added some useful accessories, no, not a GPS, radio etc. I can see maybe a suspension upgrade down the track though, when this one starts so sag (inevitable). 

There isn't much to not like about the bike.

Not around here. It's the cheapest on the list, average is around the $8k mark.
