Delkevic Pipe
Has any one had any experience with the Kelkevic pipes. Looking to replace my original and at the price they are a bargain as long as they are not cop magnets.
It will make a great birthday pressie from wife and dauther.

Re: Delkevic Pipe
I have a Delkevic slip on. It has quite a nice deep growl below ~4000rpm. Above 5000rpm it barks, quite loud. It looks good all stainless steel.
Cop magnet? Depends on how hard you push it. Surely up to 4000rpm in traffic is hard enough?

Thanks for the input Rolls . How do you find the noise levels at constant cruise speeds.

Pretty good. I find the main difference is what ear plugs I use. I've found the best for noise and fit are E.A.R Classic yellow foam plugs, made by Aearo Company, they give the bike an even deeper sound and virtually eliminate all wind noise. They are fairly dense and quite short.
Other foam plugs I've used are Peltor Next Nitro Earplugs, again made by Aearo Company, and Max Lite by Howard Leight. Both of these give the bike a bit of a "tinny" sound and allow some wind noise. They are also longer than the E.A.R plugs and annoy me a bit with the helmet on, but they're not so bad for working around the house.
A couple of riders here at work use plugs that are molded specifically for their ears, and they swear by them.
Also - the workmanship and finish on the Delkovic is superb.
