Side Stand Modification Empty Side Stand Modification

5 years ago when I bought my second Bandit I promised myself I would modify the side stand and give it a bigger shoe size.

It never happened Rolling Eyes

I had a near mishap the other week when I parked on some soft ground so I have finally done the deed albeit with a different bike.

The modification is simply a 50mm x 50mm square washer and three countersunk screws for a total cost of less that $2.

It still needs a coat of paint. Maybe that will never happen Rolling Eyes

Good to see you used nylocs, Dave.
Rolls had done a similar thing to the bike I bought from him.
It's a good mod.

Nice work Dave. Simple and practical. Gets my vote as the best value for money mod.

Great project and one I have been wanting to do for a long time.

Thanks for inspiring me.

Yep, not too bad for less than $2.00 and 10 minutes work.

I did say I would paint it really soon. And, I will, really soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
