Crash Bobins for GSF 1200 04.
Hello all
I recently purchased these of ebay from Texas.
There are every bit as good as R & G racing which I have used on my bikes in the past.
And they arrived in 10 days from the States.
Not to bad at all for only $146.00

I have something similar, if not the same.
"Used them" a while back.
Engine block was AOK.
Def recommend

Embarrassing problem
I'm wondering if these are what I need. Have had my GSX1250FA about 6 weeks and just had second incident where my friend had minor accident and I pulled up fast on a loose surface, I was a bit panicked and my bike tilted wrong way after I had stopped, and I had to lay it down gently because it went beyond my ability to catch it with one arm. Got some smallish scratches on side fairing panel, not much else, but not going to replace the panel (@ $370 each) until I find a good solution to minimise risk of such damage happening again. I'm only 170cm so it's a lot of bike for a little guy to handle when stationary, although we get on very well when moving :-)
Just looking for something to keep the fairing clear of the earth if it ever happens again...and if it helps in a crash all the better (touch wood).
If you have a better suggestion I'd like to hear it!

Check Mad Max's thread for the GSX1250FA here, and they actually work too.....
Crash protectors
Thanks barry_mcki, looks like one or the other will do the job. After riding 1000km over the weekend (which may at least partly explain my little incident at the very tail end of Day 1), the idea of some front leg extender foot pegs so I can ride along like Freewheelin' Franklin sounds very appealing.
Which reminds me of funny thing that happened on Sunday. Was riding on the road somewhere between Windsor and Blacktown and these two rather ferocious looking Harley riders pulled up behind me at the lights. I took off fairly sedately (it was a 60 zone) and they blasted past me, looks of disdain thrown towards the Jap bike rider and the full faced helmet etc. Another hundred metres up the road and the aftermarket muffler on one of the Harleys falls off onto the road, causing the owner to pull over fast. I tipped up the visor so he could hear me laughing as I passed on by
