What difference does a year make when you are a silly old fart regardless.

Re: Happy birthday Paul
If it's true what some guys claim to get on their birthday, two birthdays could be a bonus (or maybe a negative thing!!)
Come to think of it, I recall my mother had two birth certificates. Maybe she was an alien.
ANYWAY Happy Birthday on whichever day you feel is most appropriate to your needs

Looking for a birthday present for you.
What about a touring kit?
I notice it comes with two sleeping bags so no "Hanky Panky"

I think the esky is too far out the front, too hard to reach whilst riding.

I was going to suggest that we keep this away from Barry. He's likely to get excited and start modifying his sidecar.
OOPS! He's already seen it

The esky looks like it is put there as a type of dangle the carrot in front of the horse thing to make you ride faster

Given up on the canoe idea, too much wind resistance....
Oh, and by the way, Happy Birthday Paul
Re: Happy birthday Paul
It seems that Barry is pushing the envelope with licensing and registration.
I think his latest proposal comes under the definition of a Road Train and therefore he can add a further 3 trailers to his rig.
As for licensing he may require an MC license but the prime mover being a motorcycle complicates things a little.
I think I've got it. A license MC + R should do the trick.
I think he will also need to keep a log book of his journeys like his heavy haulage colleagues
Stop having birthdays Paul. Look what you have started!!

Re: Happy birthday Paul
I do think the trailer needs to be a camper trailer though ( much more on there , & they will need to build a bigger ferry for you to get over to the big island )

Re: Happy birthday Paul
Interestingly there is an issue with the ferry charges; they have a fee for bike, bike and trailer, sidecar bike, but no fee for sidecar bike with trailer, so the trailer travels for free
It usually stays at a friends place when I come to the mainland, then gets loaded up with Aldi groceries before coming back home - no Aldi in Tassie

No Aldi in SA yet either ................they are working on it
The ferry over to Kangaroo Island off SA is tremendously expensive to use especially if you don't live there . ( probably cheaper to go to Tassie LOL ).........shame really , some interesting stuff on there .

Yes, I've checked out prices for the KI ferry as I have a mate that lives there. He has let me know that when I do make it down that way, he will get the tickets for me as island residents can do that for family & friends & save them a bit of coin.
