A carbon fibre oval to suit the bandit 1250 is $650 and the stainless steel oval is $600 and the alloy ovals are $500 ,now all these prices u have to take off 25% and add $10 for freight
BTW. Megacycle have an excellent reputation.

Hey Peter,
Have you got your new can? How does it sound? And are you happy with it?

Megacycle Can
hi Michael,
Yes, quite happy. Had to open up the cut on the slip fit as it was bottoming before it could apply any clamping pressure and cut the heel guard off the original clamp and hose clamped it in as I ride on the balls of my feel a lot and my heels were touching the hot metal and melting. But apart from that I like the look and sound...mellow but with attitude. You might have to press him on the pricing as I think he gave me the trade prices by mistake...but if that's what he can do for the shops, clearly he is not loosing money.
Picture shows it fitted to my bike. It's a 450mm oval. Bought it before people started direct importing the Beowulf so did't consider it.
Regards Peter

Re: Megacycle Can
Hi Andy,
Fitted so far,
Tyres: Michelin PR2 rear and Pilot Power front
Forks: Racetech Next Generation compression valves and re-shimmed rebound stack and 1.1 kg/mm Eibach springs. Holeshot fork brace and carbon fibre guard
Radiator: Cox racing guard
Rear Shock: Ohlins SU715
Can: Megacycle carbon
Air Filter: K & N
Seat: Holeshot Corbin
Grips: Oxford heated, (Canberra winters are cold)
On hand but not fitted,
EFI: Techlusion TFI and 02 bypass
Brakes: Hardie Ferodo front pads & Galfer SS line kit
My theory is that I get the handling/braking sorted and then go Holeshot Stage 2. At the moment still tuning the front end as the springs are a tad heavy and so I have ordered a set of 1.0 kg/mm springs, (the 1.1’s are probably OK for 100 Kg + riders). Also may need change the rear spring.
Overall, I am really happy. Bandit has more of an edge without loosing its comfort and all-around versatility.
Cheers Peter
