Bandit Screens
Have a current model Bandit 1250SA. Toying with the idea of replacing the standard screen to give me more wind protection, the current one's kindof ok but there's a fair amount of buffeting across the face at speed or when it's windy. I need a screen which will throw the wind over my helmet. There's three choices from what I can see so far:
Eagle Screens - Windlip;
Eagle Screens - Double Bubble; or
Zero Gravity - Double Bubble
Has anyone had any experience with any of these and can they recommend one or more?

from memory.....
hi suu kyi,
From memory, when i was last on a forum called Two Wheeled Texans (just google it) looking at all the Bandit posts/threads (of which there were many) there were quite a few discussions regarding Zero Gravity brand screens.
i would go and check it out for some thorough product review discussion.
check out Powerbronze (the Australian website) too as they have screens in a few different styles also. Probably couldn't hurt to send Clive at p-bronze Aus an email to see who has bought what regarding Bandit Screens, he is pretty helpful.
Good luck,
Nathan

Re: Bandit Screens
This is my Zero Gravity dark tinted Double Bubble. I would like a touring screen, but don't like the look of them.
I'm about 6.4 and still get abit wind buff, but not a lot.
The screen is a lot better then the standed and looks great.

Re: Bandit Screens
Bringing this one back up from the grave.
I just put a split in my Zero Gravity Double Bubble screen. I was putting some rubber in between the cowling and screen and heard a creak. There is now a 2 inch split. I have drilled a tiny hole in the end of the split which I hope will stop it going further. I am spewing that this has happened.
Looking through the powerbronze site I can't see that they have a flip to fit my 2002 1200?

perhaps there is a reason or maybe just an over sight on their site I`d contact them & ask / if not try someone else ( eagle do a wind lip screen & I`m sure others will also )

Because when you are doing warp factor you can see through a clear screen when you are laying on the tank
My original screen is just about stuffed after 4 years on the bike. If anyone has an OEM clear sitting in the shed doing nothing sing out as I'm keen to take this one off and have a go at painting it.

I have the Zero Gravity DB and really like it. They do do a touring screen also that is higher.

You can polish out scratches in perspex screens. Even sand them and finish with Brasso. True.

Re: Bandit Screens
Or use toothpaste to polish out scratches too. This is true as well.
