I didn't think the seat was the problem, I envisaged some white to break the red up and balance the wheels.

The white stripe may look good with the black seat too!

Hey Gus,
If you decide to keep the old girl, you might want to consider taking a PC fan (3 inch) wiring it in and mounting it on your REG/REC. My first bike was a VFR 750 and I have a soft spot for them. My wife has the 800Fi now because we know we can lower it (she's vertically challenged). Anyway... The PC fan trick has been used by VFR riders along with CBR1100 and 'Blade riders. It just helps keep it cool stuck back there under the fairing...
