Sydney Motorcycle Show
Went on Saturday to the show and saw some nice new machines there.
BMW 1000 R naked, KTM 1290, new R1 and some cool cafe racers!
But I really liked the new V-Strom. It looks a lot more aggressive and turned my head when I went past.
No difference to the Bandit but I did have a little chat to a fellow Bandit owner about exhausts and using it as a commuter machine etc. Very friendly.
Had a quick chat to Boris and Alex at the AMCN stand and shared some stories about the Island Classic races earlier this year. Also the guys at the NSW Motorcycle Alliance were very friendly and helpful.
Overall there was a good amount of new bikes and accessories to look at along with the Trials and stunt riding.
It was pretty busy and good to see the amount of people walking around.
Some of those Victory's, Indians, Goldwings and Harley's are bohemouths aren't they!

the last one I went to in briz, was very disappointing, which was about 6yr ago, and even back then, a lot of manufacturers didn`t turn up due to the high cost of having a stand.Hammy wrote:Lucky You. The Motorcycle Expo planned for Brisbane has been cancelled. Great ! . What next. The Sexpo ?
sucks for the consumer.

I'm quite confident you would find a way to improvise if the sexpo were to be cancelled Hammy

Is there much point in having a bike in Qland now anyway? I would not like to live there at the moment, those of you who live there are going through a lot of garbage with the government. All the best of luck to you!
